In this collaborative and creative workshop, students will engage in a series of themed building challenges within Minecraft. Each session introduces a new prompt or concept, giving students the opportunity to express themselves across many types of creations. Throughout the workshop, students will be introduced to a variety of building techniques that can help enhance the detail, structure, and visual appeal of their creations. After each build session, the group will come together for a guided discussion and critique, where students will reflect on their work, share insights, and learn from each other’s approaches.

Learning Objectives
Identify core programming concepts such as sequences, events, loops, and conditionals using Scratch blocks Design and Build an original Scratch project that includes characters (sprites), backgrounds, movement, and interaction Practice problem-solving and debugging skills by testing, improving, and sharing their programs with peers

Ethan
Ethan is a Full Sail University film graduate and educator with experience across film production, video creation, photography, gaming, and esports. His multidisciplinary background allows him to introduce students to a wide range of creative media while making technical concepts accessible and engaging. He fosters an exploratory learning environment where creators can experiment, collaborate, and find their artistic voice through practical, project-based experiences.
